Brief Answer:
Myokymia and eustachian tube block

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I understand your problems as patients approach me with these symptoms which is sometimes alarming for them.
The first problem of twitching of eyelids is called Myokymia. It is benign condition and nothing to worry about. Most doctors do not recommend any treatment.
However there is another condition called Facial Myokymia where there is twitching of the muscles of the face. If you get it, you should seek medical help. As for the Myokymia of the lids , certain things like long working hours, anxiety, caffeine, alcohol etc may precipitate it.
The problem of popping in the ears is due to the block of a tube connecting the back of your nose (Nasopharynx) with the middle ear. This gets blocked often when you have a cold or upper respiratory infection. Swallowing air with closed mouth and nose, chewing gum etc may open up the tube. You could use nasal decongestant drops and antihistamine tablets for relief.
I shall be happy to answer if you have any further query.
Wish you good health
