Detailed Answer:
hello, Annievln,
I am DR.Rajesh Teli,MD.
I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM.
I understand that when you getup from sitting position or supine position you feel dizzy on standing.
I would like to know following details.
1.What is your current of blood pressure?I suggest you to check your BP in lying down and then immediately in standing condition. Is there any fall in BP ?
2.Are you receiving any medicines for any other ailment.
3.Do you have any pain in neck or have you painful or restricted neck movements? sometimes such complaint may develop if you have cervical spondylosis.
4.kindly furnish details if you have diabetes or High cholesterol.
I shall be able to guide you further after I know this information.
Meanwhile be careful while getting up from bed, don't straightway get up.First turn on side, sit for a while and then stand.
My best wishes

What I am most concerned about is the uncontrollable shaking in my hands and great weakness. Is this still part of a blood pressure issue?

Regarding your other questions about neck pain or medications. No. My choloesterol is high but the my doctor states the ratios are excellent so there is nothing worry about. Trigycerides are currently a bit high.

Brief Answer:
Shaking and weakness may not be due to blood pressure

Detailed Answer:
Shaking of hands and weakness may not be due to blood pressure. Without examination, I cannot comment on whether or not this is alarming or serious. A clinical examination is important to rule out tremors or abnormal movement. So you may please consult a physician for opinion

My best wishes
Dr.Teli.
