Question: My daughter of 6 has had enlarged circumvallate papillae in a v shape at back of tongue for 5 weeks at least. She had them 2 weeks before chicken pox errupted but are still there 5 weeks later. Is this linked? She is starting to cry in pain again because of her throat.

Brief Answer:
Most probably this is not linked

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your query; and for your kind information this is not linked with chicken pox.

Most probably your daughter may be suffering from the tonsillopharyngitis. Consult with your doctor or send me the image of the throat of your daughter.
