Detailed Answer:

Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your symptoms could be related to a metabolic cause like: thyroid dysfunction, adrenal gland dysfunction, vitamin D deficiency, an electrolyte imbalance. Sleep apnea could also be the cause of your symptoms.

I would exclude any cardiac causes related to this symptomatology because the symptoms are not characteristic of any cardiac disorder and all your performed cardiac tests have resulted normal.

Coming to this point, I would recommend performing additional tests:

- a chest X ray study and respiratory function tests
- an arterial blood gas analysis
- thyroid hormone levels
- blood electrolytes
- cortisol plasma levels
- vitamin D plasma levels.

A polysomnography or multi sleep latency test would help exclude sleep apnea.

If all the above tests result normal, you should consult with a neurologist to try to help regulate your sleep.

A good sleep is necessary for a normal function of all organs. The lack of sleep may be the reason of most of your symptoms.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
