Suggest Treatment For Discolored Spots On Scotum

Question: Several weeks ago I noticed small (penny to nickel sized) discolored spots on my scrotum. At first I thought it to be fungus related and didn't rush myself too heavily on getting to the doctor. When I finally did he thought the same thing and told me to use Lamisil for a week and that should clear it up. After a week and change the spots were still there and I also developed two small red bump/welt looking spots on the shaft of my penis. Along with this i started developing small dot hives on in between or near the webbing of my fingers, on the left and right sides of where the mid point of my rib cage would be, on my foot and rear end. They flair up at night but remain dormant during the day. (Of the note the ones in the webbing of my fingers look similar to blisters and are fluid filled.) At this point my doctor ruled out any STDs but wasn't entirely sure of origin. He put me on doxycycline and an oral steroid (which escapes me.) During the steroid treatment symptoms subsided and it appeared progress was being made. However, once the steroids ran their course everything kicked back into gear again with itchy flare ups at night and one new spot on the shaft of my penis and several new dot hives around my body. I'm pending seeing my doctor again due to the holiday but thought I'd reach out on here to see if I can gain some insight before then as the itching is quite annoying and anything invoking my penis and scrotum has me understandable highly concerned and stressed. It should be noted that at the time the hives started breaking out i also developed an upper respatory infection, mainly in my chest. Not sure if that ties in at all but want all my ducks in a row.
Sorry, should have mentioned the following: I reside in XXXXXXX TX. Past four months I have been working in an indoor/outdoor facility and have been sweating a substantial amount more than I ever have previously due to this. Diet wise I eat strawberry and pineapple five days a week while at work along with a variety of processed food.

Brief Answer:
Not fungal or allergic

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

I have gone through the images and based on the description I am convinced that the lesions can not be due to fungal or allergic etiology.

The condition needs to be evaluated further with specific tests. Based on the site of involvement and appearance of the lesion I suspect it to be Scabies or staphylococcal skin infection.

Do consult a dermatologist who can order a skin biopsy and microscopy which helps to identify the causative organism.

Hope, I answered your query.

Please do ask if any doubts.
