Brief Answer:
Give plenty of fluids and watch for signs of dehydration

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

I can understand your concern. The main aim of management in diarrhea is to prevent dehydration by giving plenty of fluids.
It may take 5-7 days for the stool pattern to get normal.
I won't get worried if baby is active, accepting orally well, there is no vomiting and passing urine at least 4-5 times in 24 hours.
Continue giving medication as advised by your doctor.I would like to add Zinc syrup (it helps in early recovery) and probiotics like Bifilac/enterogermina to maintain the normal gut flora.
Avoid milk,sugar syrup,carbonated drinks,junk food.
I hope with all these measure he would recover in next few days.
If you find that he is getting lethargic, decreased frequency of urine, sunken eyes or persistent vomiting take him to the pediatrician immediately.

Please let me know if you have any more query.
Regards
