Suggest Treatment For Diarrhea Along With Stomach Ache

Question: I was at the doctor last week and he put me on Cefuroxime Axetil for an upper respiratory infection and no I developed Clostridium difficile, Im in the bathroom every 5 minutes with the feeling of having a bowel movement with terrible pains in my stomach but there is only a muscus discharge. can't have a normal bowel movement

I read your question and i understand your concern. Its not clostridium difficile. Its just a diarrhea which is a common adverse effect of this antibiotic. Just stop the antibiotic and replace it with less bothering one. Eat BRAT diet till then and keep hydrating. There you go. No worries.

Banana Rice Apple sauce and Toast till the diarrhea subsides. You may also take fluids rich in electrolytes and hope for the best.
