Brief Answer:
likely GI infection as you mentioned

Detailed Answer:
HI ,thanks for using healthcare magic

As you mentioned, you sound as though you have a GI bug or infection. This is most commonly viral or bacterial and it is self limited meaning that it tends to go on its own with only symptomatic treatment (treatment of the symptoms not the virus or bacteria itself).

Treatment involves : (1) holding off all solid food till there is a 4 hour window with no symptoms

When this 4 hour period occurs, start with a small amount of dry foods first , moving on to different foods if these are tolerated
Dry foods would be bread, biscuits, rice with no sauce etc

(2)fluids are very important to treat or prevent dehydration . It would be best to give back both fluids and electrolytes. Sports drinks or oral rehydration solutions would do this so the gatorade can be continued

(3)probiotics- either on their own or with yogurts would help as well

(4)continue the pepto bismol if this is helping. Dramamine also helps with vomiting, you can use this with the pepto bismol or on its own

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
