Suggest Treatment For Dark Dots On The Head Of The Penis

Posted on Fri, 22 Jul 2016
Question: Hello. Please refer to my previous inquiries as these all relate to the same situation.

The small dark dot on the rim of my glans penis has been present for about 8 months now. As per my last consultation on this site (I also saw a doctor in person), the advice I was given from both was to pay it no mind and for the most part, it was ok. Sometimes it would fade a bit, sometimes it would look a bit irritated (always after masturbation) but it never totally went away.

However a few days ago I engaged in two long intense masturbation sessions, and afterwards the site was very red and the spot looked darker. The redness went away after about a day, day and a half, but the dark spot remains, it almost looks and feels like a scab after a cut or something. There is no pain, no itching, no burning, no discharge.

But I do not like the look of it and I am very anxious. I just want to rule out the possibility of a disease or infection. I last had protected sex with a condom about 3 months ago with a girl I was dating, and I haven't had sex since then.

Can you please take a look at the attached picture, and at the pictures from my previous posts, and let me know your opinion? Thank you very much for your time.

Brief Answer:
There is no infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
Just relax its normal.
It's just a common mole.
Redness and swelling is due to friction during masturbation.
You don't have any infection.
If you want this spot can be removed using radiofrequency ablator.
You can meet a dermatologist and get it removed.
For immediate relief apply a mild steroid cream like cortisone twice daily for a week.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
