Suggest Treatment For Cyst In The Kidney

Question: In medical report I found 1.7 m cyst noted in mid pole of the left kidney what treatment should I have to under go and my sugar level is in fasting it is 164.4 and in post 244 and Tcholesterol 240 what should I have to do .?
I am aged 56

1. The cyst in kidney is a water filled harmless structure and is a common condition. You can get one scan done after 3 to 6 months anf if there is no change is size of cyst then there is no problem.

2. For sugar level you can consult a diabetologist and get HbA1c test done. This is accurate and will give relliable report. You can confirm your diabetes and then start on recommended medicines.

3. For high cholesterol you can consult a cardiologsit and they will give you medicines. You can get ECG and echocardiography done. Please use olive oil for cooking at hme. Do cholesterol test again after 3 months.

You should also make life style changes and eat healthy diet after discussing and high cholesterol with your doctor.
