Suggest Treatment For Cough And Cold During Pregnancy
Question: My wife is pregnant and is suffering from cold and cough for last 4 days. She is also taking medication for her low Hb levels. Prescription attached. She took warm milk and turmeric powder (1 tea spoon) mixed with it for last two days. Is turmeric powder safe during pregnancy, will it have any adverse effects on baby, what other treatments should we follow? Is cold or cough related to her medication? Please advice us on the precautions.

Just ask her to have steam inhalation and lukewarm water several times a day and if possible do gargles.
Turmeric powder has no harmful effects and can be consumed but of course it won't help much.
Give her tablet medlar two times a day and see the response.
In case above remedies don't help or she develops fever along then visit your doctor for examination.
