Suggest Treatment For Constipation When Suffering From Hyperthyroidism
Question: Female, d/x'd with hyperthyroidism-had ablatedd. Taking 0.100 mcg of synthroid. Have started showing male hormone, mustache, eyebrows, nasal hair. Terrible constipation also.

Your symptoms of male hormone excess is not due to thyroid hormone excess. We need to investigate the cause for that. There are many reasons for excess hair growth in a woman. Many hormonal disorders can cause it. Polycystic ovary syndrome is the commonest cause. On the third day of your periods, you may need few blood tests.
