Suggest Treatment For Complications After Surgery For Kidney Stones

Question: I had surgery for a kidney stone, but developed problem: B/p decreased and HR elevated. I was loaded up with IV's and antibiotics. To check if blood clots were a problem a CAT scan was done . It instead showed two lymph nodes around the aorta that were suspicious for desease. I had a biopsy, but the Dr could not get a good enough size specimen, what was tested was negative..the secound node is harder to get to and they want to do another surgery, We are waiting to see if the node goes down(overloaded lymph system?) with another CAT scan in a few weeks ... Is it safe to detox and do lymph message until then or would that spread cancer if present?

Brief Answer:
PET scan

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Since your CAT scan showed 2 lymph nodes around the aorta that were suspicious for disease and biopsy could not get good size specimen and was negative. In this context I would advise you to do a PET scan.

A PET scan detects malignant changes in the body better than CAT scan and will be able to tell whether the lymph nodes are due to some infection or cancerous cells are present in them.

For the time being you can detox and do lymph message and it is safe and it does not spread cancer.
