Question: I have been having sinus issues since last XXXXXXX The ct scan I had done in September said that i have mild mucoperiosteal thickening, slight deviated septum, and turbinate hypertrophy. I really don't want sinus surgery. It scares me to death. I have never had something like this before, it came out of nowhere

Brief Answer:
Chronic sinusitis with nasal deviation

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic and thanks for putting up the query
From the CT report you have mentioned I can say that you don't have much sinusitis but it is just in the beginning stage. The nasal deviation is responsible for the turbinate hypertrophy and mild sinusitis.
It would be better if you can send me the pictures of your CT SCAN so that I can suggest you better.
Medicines can help a lot if it is mild sinusitis and even can help to defer surgery but surgery is the absolute treatment.
Please tell me what symptoms are you having?
Follow up with the required information.
Take care
Thanks and regards
