Question: Diffuse moderate to severe pancreatic atrophy with mild dilatation of MP. No e/o pancreatic calcification. These features are suggestive of chronic pancreatitis.
I what to know, I'm having cancer

Hello

Your findings suggests changes of chronic pancreatitis only.
Chronic pancreatitis is due to repeated infection of pancreas.
This lead to loss of pancreatic parenchyma(tissue)and this allows main pancreatic duct(MPD,through which pancreatic juice comes out) to dilate.

This is not a sign of cancer.Cancer of pancreas has different appearance and findings.
So,you shouldn't worry about cancer with these findings.

i am working in the merchant navy ,and i am about to join the ship next so is it safe for me to work .does it need a series of treatment or just daily medication will help ?I am already taking PANLIPASE,PANDODAC CAPSULES.please help?
