Suggest Treatment For Chronic Pain In Back From Under Shoulder Blades To Tip Of Spine

default
Posted on Tue, 1 Jul 2014
Question: I am 68 yrs. old. I have chronic pain in my back from under shoulder blades to tip of spine. Dr. says arthritis.
When pain starts it progresses quickly and I can't do anything with sitting for long time in between doing anything, including walking. I can only bend a few times if I am not in pain, but that brings the pain on. I can't go to pain management - missed drug screening. Was dependent on morphine. Now I need to find something for pain that is not an opiod. Any suggestions, Please?

Brief Answer:
you can start neurotropic

Detailed Answer:
Hello
I have studied your case.
There is probably age related spine degeneration may be leading to disc prolapse.
MRI Spine will help in diagnosis.
Neurotropic medication like pregabalin may help ,you can start that consulting your doctor.
There is probably age related osteoporosis also associated so DEXA scan will help in diagnosis and treatment.
I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to ask. I will be happy to answer your question. Take care.
