Question: I accidentally dissolved a Zoloft pill in my tongue . Now it's burning my throats and its killing me

Pain is due to temporary damage to the soft tissues of the throat.

This sort of discomfort can take 1 to 2 days to resolve completely.

Treatment would consist of the use of anti inflammatory pain killers such as naproxen, ibuprofen, cataflam etc

In addition, the use of cold liquids or semi solids (Eg yogurt, ice cream), would also help to relieve the discomfort that you are feeling

Avoid any hot liquids/foods or hard foods that may aggravate any injured areas
