Question: I cannot breathe through my nose at all. Im on my 3rd day of my XXXXXXX azithromycin and still cannot breathe through nose all night long when can i breathe again?

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

There are a few things which can help bigtime with your symptoms.

1) Steam inhalation can help you big time I would suggest it twice or thrice daily for 4..5 minutes.
2) Take tablet Alegra-D it will help with body aches and fever if any, plus help with congestion as well.
3) Do take some OTC antihistamin daily at night for example citerizine or loratidine 10mg daily at night this will help will allergy and runny nose.
4) Get a good OTC cough syrup and use it if there is cough
5) Steamy bath does help too
6) Hot drinks help protecting you from dry throat and irritation specially green tea is good for this.
7) You can use Nasal spray to open the congested nose.
8) Also continue the medication you already are using
