Suggest Treatment For Balancing Issues And Leg Pain While Walking
Question: I have been having balance problems for over 10 years. I have recently been diagnosed with 100% occlusion of both my carotid arteries. My CT scan shows 5 minor strokes. The arteries in my legs are also narrowed. I need to walk but in addition to pain, I am so unsteady on my feet. Should I consult an ENT? I am not happy with my neurologist.

With a 100 % occlusion of both your carotid arteries, there is a lot of work to be done and if your neurologist is not taking you seriously then this can result in really serious consequences, with only you being on the suffering end.
So you are on statins for the cholesterol, aspirin for the occlusion; I would also recommend checking on your blood pressure and taking medications if required, going about an angio may also help, and anti-vertigo medication as well could be used to help suppress the vertigo.
