Question: My mom is 96 years old and has auditory hallucinations, the
  quetiapine drug (seroquel), is it advisable in your case?What do you recommend for this ailment, that you hear voices that constantly insult you?

I will like to know how well you would rate your mother's memory. Most auditory hallucinations in elderly are part of the bigger picture of declining memory. If you think she cannot hold a conversation, cannot remember things, sometimes forget names and places, then she needs to be evaluated by a neurologist.

Quietiapine is a good drug as it get them calm. I would recommend this as well. Kindly follow through and get it going. The results will speak for themselves.
