Answered by Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein 41 minutes later
Brief Answer:
Several remedies

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
if you cant discontinue seroquel, then this should be managed with dietary changes first. Have high fibre food, drink plenty of fluids, fruit, boiled food, avoid chocolate, fried and spicy food and fats. Also, take probiotics, and milk products. if there is no success, you should consider laxatives such as glycerin supossitories, portalac or psilium. if there won't be improvement, you should do colonoscopy to rule out some more serious issues. Wish you good health. regards

Hello, I have an anal skin tag which I've had since my young childhood (I had chronic constipation when I was young). It has not bothered me until recently (I'm 21), and I've been extremely stressed at work and my food intake as been less than healthy, thus resulting in constipation. My stools have been very hard, and it almost feels like there was a "rip" or fissure, and it always tends to be more sensitive around the tag when I have a bowel movement. After my bowel movement, it was quite a bit of blood in the toilet, but only in the water, as my stools looked normal (light brown, regular shape) with no blood actually in the stool itself. Is it possible that I have hemmroids? If so, what can I do to get rid of them, and prevent this from happening later on?
