Question: I am getting dry cough for 1 month and I have taken anti-biotic and cough syrup. The intensity has come down but it is still there.

Hi, thanks for your query.
I feel probably you have allergic cough / allergic bronchitis.
If I were your treating doctor, I would suggest loratidine + monteleukast tablet daily twice for 2 weeks.
Along with cough syrup+ short course of steroid deflazacort 30 mg daily twice for 1 week.
Avoid cold items and oily foods , curds, butter milk, citrus fruits for 1 month.
With this treatment you should improve.
If symptoms persist, consult doctor and get evaluated.
