Brief Answer:
Symptoms are indicative for possible GERD

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXX,

I am sorry for the situation you are in. I understood your concerns. Your symptoms are indicative for possible gastritis and/or GERD.

First, I need to know the dose of Pentosid-dsr you are using.

Upper endoscopy and abdominal ultrasound are advised for further evaluation.

Healthy diet and lifestyle regimen in highly recommended:
- eat often and small portions
- chew up slowly
- avoid citrus/chillies/spicy foods etc.
- do not lay down immediately after eating
- take extra pillow to sleep

Wish fast recovery!

Brief Answer:
No need to continue with Pentosid-dsr...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back XXXXXX,

Pentosid-dsr contains a combination of pantoprazole 40 mg and domperidone 30 mg. I advise not to use this combination anymore. Instead, can use only pantoprazole 40 mg twice daily for first 3 consecutive weeks. You do not have to use domperidone for longer periods. There is no need to use it.

Meanwhile, I advise to run the above-mentioned tests to conclude the right diagnosis.

With regards to headaches you are having while on empty stomach might be related to the heartburn or low blood sugar levels. Have your bs measured, and record the results for further evaluations.

Hope it answered to your queries!
