Suggest Treatment For A Lump In The Abdomen

Question: Hi

I have a small pea sized lump in the centre of my stomach just below my rib cage. I noticed it 3 months ago. Its not always there and seems to come and go and its certainly not growing. I went to my GP earlier this month, he did a full stomach examination with his hands and he could not really feel it and said it was nothing to worry about.
Its not painful but I do irritate the area with poking and prodding.
My GP thought is was most likely to be a fatty lump??
Any thoughts to put my mind at ease?
Thanks

Hi. Can you clarify your answer above -" possibility of fatty lump is more" - what ? Likely or unlikely

There is no visible lump on surface it's only just by feel. There is no mark etc on skin.

Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry much as it is not growing and it is intermittent.

Thanks for your follow up question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
I thought you are having visible lump. But you are only feeling it intermittently and it is not growing as well.
So it is likely to be a fatty lump. Don't think too much. Get done ultrasound examination of local area when you are feeling it. Otherwise no need to worry for this.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
