Brief Answer:
Hot compress will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
After an injection of steroid the pain can initially flare up. It subsides gradually with rest hot compress and anti inflammatory pain killers. You can continue with Advil and avoid weight bearing on the leg for relief. In case there is a swelling or the area is hot then do consult your physician to rule out an infection.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
