Question: I have got genito-urinary tuberculosis 2 years back. That means tuberculosis in my prostate gland. I have taken prescribed medicine for 9 months. That killed the bacteria's and the disease. But now my prostate has become very weak. When I do some leg exercise , it implies some pressure in prostate area and I cannot continue that exercise. I feel weak in day to day life. Also that disease reduced fat on my hips and nearby area. so now my hips are thinner in ratio of my body. How to again make my prostate stronger and increase fat on hips area?

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you had Tuberculosis of Prostate and have taken anti tubercular drugs for 9 months. Now you are feeling weak and have doubt that it is due to weakness of the prostate.

I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Have you done ultrasound scanning of the abdomen and pelvis to see the status of prostate as regards size and volume of the prostate.

Please note that Prostate secretes prostatic fluid which is important component of the semen and it has no role to play in general health and deposition of fat in gluteal region.

The weakness and loss of fat over gluteal region maybe due to long standing disease of Tuberculosis .

Please consult qualified Dietician or Nutritionist to seek help as regards your diet and exercise .

Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to write if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you .
Thanks and Regards .

yes I have gone through ultrasound scanning and v the prostate appears to be normal in it. And also my tuberculosis went undetected almost for 2-3 years. Now when I try to watch some adult things I feel immediate vibrations in prostate area and weakness.
