Brief Answer:
Altered flora seems cause of your problems.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing HCM.
Have gone through your details.

You are on a number of medications from a long period of time. Apart from that you are regularly using antibiotics. Use of regular antibiotics depletes the intestinal flora. Gut flora is the complex community of microorganisms that live in the digestive tracts of humans. The intestinal microflora is a complex ecosystem containing over 400 bacterial species. Anaerobes outnumber facultative anaerobes. The flora is sparse in the stomach and upper intestine, but luxuriant in the lower bowel. Toxins released from antibiotics and other medicines destroys this flora of gut and lead to various problems with digestive system. I would recommend you to take a Probiotic and Prebiotic for atleast 1 month.

A part from Medication i would recommend you some life style changes which are going to help you a lot-
- Increase XXXXXXX warm water intake. Take cleaner drinking water to avoid further infection.
- Eat plentiful "fresh oranges" and "pear "
- Do some exercise everyday as per your capacity try to take a 20 minute walk.
- Take a diet which is very low in Fat.
- Add lot of vegetables and fruits to your diet.
- Fruit juices should be taken.
-Take small amount of food every 2 hours, Don't take large meals at one time, Eat small meals (rich in fiber), Avoid eating outside for few days ,Try to eat vegetable, Take a lot of yoghurt along with food.
-Take two tea spoon isphagula husk with 200 to 300 mL water once while going to bed every day.
- Avoid COLD milk and and AVOID junk food(NO burger , pizza-even if its veg.)
- avoid beverages / alcohol/ soft drinks
- do some exercise (push-ups / squats etc) early in the morning
- avoid carbonated drinks
- take 2-3 spoon edible virgin olive oil in the morning
.

There is no magical formula. You are having problems from long time, Just try to follow things as advised. In long term you will feel the benefits. Don't panic be patient things will settle down soon.

Thanks!

Details below!

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
In case you get another kidney or bladder infection you have to take antibiotics but always ask your consultant to prescribe you good pre and probiotics along with antibiotics,Vitamin B complex should also be taken daily as long as you are on antibiotics.
Peobiotics should be started from the day you are on medications and should be taken till a week after antibiotics are stopped.
Soak isapgullu husk 2tsf in milk or water for about 30 minutes,Ingest it after that. Its the right method to take husk.please clearify what you mean by blounts you up?

Brief Answer:
Follow up consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hi again,

For bloating you can take pantoprazole 40 mg for few days and yes a probiotic will definitely help,so take a probiotic for a week or two along with B complex. Prebiotics can be continued indefinitely however probiotics should be taken once or twice daily after lunch and dinner for one or two weeks as per the response of your body.

Both prebiotic and probiotic will help in replenishing the depleted intestinal flora.

Thanks!
