HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic.

Pain in joints indicates Arthritis but why are you saying that Arthritis seems wrong .

I need more information on your symptoms.

Where exactly are you having pain?
Since how long the pain is there ?
Is there any difficulty in movements of legs or while walking?

Have any tests been done and if so kindly upload the reports.

Kindly revert back with these details .

Looking forward for your reply.

27 years ago tremendous pain in chest for over a year. No doctor identified it. Osteo or other. Concluded I would die probably, so strong was the pain. Doctors wanted to observe over time. I discovered/identified bone had pulled from my sternum. I found ways to let it heal without verifying. 15 years later in gym, bone pulled again, verified. Let it heal. At a similar time, sprained ankle, didn't treat properly, (stupid), both ankles purple with blood, down to toes. A long time healing. Found pitting edema. 15 years ago, right foot swelled up painfully out of nowhere. Crippling to walk on. Sliced shoes to fit/gimp. Sought doctors, finally sports medicine doctors, x-rayed, etc., even chest. Doc found arthritic lesions on ribs. Couldn't identify foot swelling. I suggested gout. He said he didn't think so. He gave up. Last hope.
I drank juices. Treated it as if it might be gout. Pain and swelling bounced back and forth between feet and toes. Small blood vessels from sprain didn't help circulation, back to normal. Additional ongoing attacks continue. Never as bad as the first. Gym helps a lot. Currently, arch on outside of right foot, limping pain held for a week, went away over night, jumped to the outside of left foot. Identifiable characteristics. It seems to follow my blood from joint to joint, right side, left side, up to left knee, a little on hip. Makes me think gout. I do get joint pains now and then, from what seems to be arthritis. But this seems different. When I eat rich foods, or have too much butter, cream or cheese, 8-12 hours later I can get a hit. Liquids, cherry juice, salads, help, but each change, good to bad, bad to good, is delayed 8 to 12 hours. So it's hard to track. Each doctor says he doesn't think it's gout. Yet it acts like gout....I think. It seems very much like a circulation problem in my legs, because of the swelling and the pitting edema. Sex, and getting and maintaining an erection is a recent problem. Procedure: 5 years ago Ablation to treat Arrhythmia.
Since pain shows up often, and is aggravated bat exercise, walking etc, I would have to say I am more often in real pain than not. Every one in a while, I get a week of a real sense of getting back to a normal state. But it doesn't last. Makes me think there's a cure. But I don't know what to treat to find it.

Blood pressure is a bit high. I take Topral 100, Benecar40, and Diltazem HLCm 120

Brief Answer:
It's not looking like Gout.

Detailed Answer:
HI

You may not like it but even I don't think it is Gout . Because Gout rarely affect large joints like Knee joints and it doesn't cause purple colour discolouration.

What I feel is that you are having problem in Collagen. Collagen is a fibre kind of tissue present in muscles , bones and blood vessels . If there is problem in collagen then you can get Joint problems ( both pain and dislocation ) , Problems in muscles ( like chronic fatigue , pain ) or bleeding problems .

There are different condition that affect Collagen but before going to the evaluation of that I need to know what all tests that have been done till now . Kindly let me know their reports.

Hope this information was useful to you .

Any clarification feel free to ask.

Regards.
