default
Posted on Tue, 14 Feb 2017
Question: I have copd. I had Bronchitis at the end of November and finished the anibiotic the beginning of December. I have had more trouble breathing to the point at gasping for air with movement every since then. My oxygen levels don't always drop and using the oxygen does not make a difference. Any thoughts?

Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma'am
Welcome to health care magic, I have gone through your question very diligently and I will try to help you out in best possible way.

At the outset I would like further information for better assessment of the condition like
since how long you are having COPD?
Do you smoke?

I would advise you for the battery of investigation like X ray chest, CBC, Blood sugar, recording of Blood Pressure and pulmonary function test if need be.

Since you are not getting adequate response with symbacort, spiriva than I would advise advise you theophylline group of drugs about which your doctor knows.

In addition to medicines I would advise you for deep breathing exercises, Try to avoid dust and allergens which triggers your attack.

please write back to me with the details I have asked for so that I will be able to tell you more accurately.
Best wishes
