Question: I have word retrieval aphasia at age 78 I was on a trial dose of prednisone [10 mg] for two short periods
30 pills separated by a month off The Rx was given to me to shrink a large nasal polyps-it worked very
well I could breath through my nose But the side effects were all beneficial I noticed after a week my aphasia
was 80% gone-But two ENTs would not renew Rx citing the "side effects" I am a reader of ask a patient and
have found the peoples evaluations spot on My friends tell me see a DO-but the Doc. that prescribed is a DO
My sister in law has been on Pres.for several yrs. and she hasn't developed any extra limbs Any suggestion
as to what kind od doctor to see next.? XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
