Posted on Tue, 25 Aug 2015
Question: Hello,
Does this look like a spider bite or a blister please? It is my 4 year old sons ankle....
He says it's sore but not itchy. I removed some black fluff after first photo
Yesterday it was a small, red sore, we assumed it was from his shoes rubbing.

Brief answer....it seems to be a blister with accompanying infection may be caused by the shoe bite.
Detailed answer...
I have read your query and would like to say that it is an infected blister. You can see the pus over the wound as well as considerable redness around the wound.
This would need a regular cleaning with SAVLON and dressing with NEOSPORIN Skin oint. In addition you need to give a broad spectrum oral antibiotic like etc  for around 5-7 days.Since this is a prescription drug, you need to consult your doctor for the prescription of this antibiotic or any other antibiotic which he wishes.
There is nothing to worry as it shall be all right in next 5-7 days.
I hope it helps, however you may revert to me for any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
