Suggest Remedy For Shoulder Pain Caused By Soft Tissue Contusion

Question: I hugged or squeezed my wife too hard and now she feels pain after in her upper right shoulder and upper arm. I think it could also be because of her posture at work (she's sitting down most of time) but i think it is showing that her muscles are strained still? what do you think we should do? should she get an x-ray? a massage?

It is possible the may be soft tissue injury in the regions of the arms. Also he Calcium and Vitamin D levels may be low which are important in maintaining bone strength.

It is advisable to apply ice to the painful regions and keep the limbs elevated.

She needs to take Calcium and Vitamin D supplements. Also she needs to eat a diet rich in fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables, breaks, nuts.

She can take pain killer and antacid tablets like Tablet Ibuprofen 400mg twice a day for 5 days after meals and Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice a day, half an hour before meals, respectively. She can apply pain killer gel.

There is no need for Xray.
