Question: Hi, i have been having pain in the right side of my face from the inside of my ear to feeling painfull pressure in my eye+ reddish discharges in my ear. I went to the dentist because i thought it might be related to my wisdom teeth but he says it isnt. He says it might be muscular and to wait a week hile taking ibuprofene and methocarbamol(muscle relaxant). The pain is not going away and when i open my mouth i feel a horrible pain in the bone beneath my eye and cheekbone. He checked my lymph nodes for a sign of infection but their size is normal. I have been having this kind of pain only on the right side for years now on and off but now its way worst. And the inside of my ear is always wet and really sensitive I can barelly chew and i feel very weak. I took a picture of my xray and i am waiting for them to send me a copy by email. Can you take a look i am really concerned. Thank you

Hello

It is most likely not related to CSF leak. CSF leak is a serious condition and patient may develop meningitis etc.
It is generally due to trauma, post operative etc.
I don't think it may be the cause in your case.

Ok. Well it started right after a car accident. I didnt go to the ER because i had no money for the ambulance. Im not sure how i should approach the situation with my md. I live in Canada and to see a specialist you need a referal from your md. The symptoms are pretty weird and i feel like i kind of sond crazy if you know what i mean.u
