Brief Answer:
Signs of throat infection; need detailed history

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

You have provided a very short history.
Most commonly red spots on uvula are early signs of throat infection or tonsillitis- commonly bacterial in origin. But I need to know some other points regarding your case like-
Since when are you having the complaint?
Is there any fever, difficulty in swallowing, swollen tonsils etc?
Any cough or throat pain?

Kindly get back to me with the answers so that I can help you further.
And cancer is very unlikely- dont worry about that.

Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Follow as advised

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
I believe you meant pus in tonsils or pus-filled tonsils.
This means that you have a recurrent tonsillitis, probably bacterial.
You should see an ENT specialist in this case.
If even after using antibiotics at frequent intervals, your infection seems to recur, then you should have an opinion regarding further management.
My advice will be to get a throat culture done, a complete blood count done and visit an ENT specialist with the reports.
Specific antibiotics according to the reports might be started or if your problem comes under indications of tonsillectomy, then it can be performed in future.
Till then, avoid chilled food and beverages, do warm saline gargling.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
