Suggest Remedy For Pain While Recovering From A Recluse Spider Bite

Question: My wife Is having pain in a healing recluse bite. Has not had pain since the diagnosis4 weeks ago. It is almost healed and she is now having pain. No redness, or drainage or other s/s of infection.

I am so sorry to hear about this pain that your wife has. Unless the pain is severe, there is nothing to worry about as haling is often accompanied by itching and a dull aching pain. This is not suggestive of an infection and doesn’t require any special attention. I will recommend that she takes Tylenol for relief and let’s observe. Unless otherwise, there is nothing to be bothered about.
