Brief Answer:
Can be due to osteoporosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The pain in upper arms can be a muscle pain due to weak muscles or osteoporosis or decreased Vitamin D3 levels. Mild pain killers and muscle relaxants along with calcium and vitamin D3 supplements can help in decreasing the pain. Regular exercise and physical therapy will also help in decreasing the symptoms.
I hope this answers your query.
