Suggest Remedy For Itchy Penis Due To Yeast Infection
Question: Hi, I have a question that is concerning me. My wife had an yeast infection last week and now she is on her period, but we had sex when she had the infection and she said it hurt so we stopped. Now the problem is that now the tip or inside the tip of my penis is kinda itchy and sometime i fill like i got to pee, and i do but i feel like i pee more than usual, did she give me some kind of infection from her yeast infection? If so What should i go get to help?

Although it is uncommon for fungal infection to transmit from female to male,your symptoms,especially itching, is suggestive of infection.
We can confirm or exclude the infection by a urine examination(routine+culture),and treat accordingly.
Your doctor will guide you in this.
Meanwhile,take plenty of oral fluids.You can take Levocetirezine 5mg once daily for itching(may cause some sedation).

if the itching is not associated with urinary disturbance,it indicate that the infection has just began and not ascended to upper urethra.
Anyhow,it is better to do a urine test so that we can confirm the diagnosis and treat accordingly.
