Brief Answer:
pain after meals may be due to acid peptic disease or intestinal colic

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for putting your query in hcm. I can understand your concerns. Pain after taking meals may be due to acid peptic disease or intestinal colic. So I will suggest you to take a proton pump inhibitor like rabeprazole along with a prokinetic agent like domperidone. Also take some antispasmodic agent like drotavarine. I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. Wish you a good health

Have already tried pump inhibitor. Didn't work. Could the barium all thru my system be the problem and how do I clean it out.

I just had a CT scan. The barium went all thru my system when stomach exploded and is still there 2 yrs later. The surgeon said he cleaned out all he could but couldn't get it all. It is like clumps hanging on. They have no idea how to get rid of it.

Brief Answer:
take peglac after discussion with your doctor

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Its very strange to know that barium is still in gastrointestinal tract. One thing you can try after discussing it with your doctor. Take one pack of polyethylene glycol available in market by name of peglac, dissolve in 2 litre of water and drink it over 2 to 3 hours. It will lead to loose motion, may be this expel all barium from GIT.

If stomach ruptured and Barium spread outside stomach, then surgeon only can help.

I hope this may help you. Wish you a good health
