Suggest Remedies For Stress And Anxiety

Question: Every few days I relapse to negative thinking to some degree I am guessing it is a part of getting better but what is called a minor setback before continuing.

What I am using to promote better thinking is to relate the results of the 7 PFTs to the past 16 years. Since they are all very close in the outcomes I must say that I should be physically ok and that its just stres mediators and the negative effects they bring such as increased inflammation. So that what I deal with trying to rake a deep breath with inhaling good. It has to be inflamed airways I can't find it to be air trapping which could limit air in because some is already taking up space. I think I can say this because my pft said I have no excessive reserve nor other indicators.
You can fill me in on your thoughts

Today I need to research international shipping. I met a person in Malaysia who wishes to do a musical instrument exchange. I need to find the easiest way to ship and to transport bass guitars in and out of both countries

Oh, I try to be as selfish as possible. Thats why I love weekends when the step kids are with their father and the wife works. Then I do what I want.

I am having a rough day today. I am leaving early and gonna go home and try to relax and un stress. I have a job interview tomorrow evening so the recruiter wants to talk to me tonight with a preliminary run through.

Do I recall you saying that stress agrevates inflammation which closes up airways making it hard to breathe? If i remember you mentioned that contributes to fef25/75 in some way. I know anxiety also tenses up body and chest muscles making a harder to breath sensation.

We have way too many threads. Gonna take me a week to go thru them to find all you said about Anxiety, Inflammation. Small Airways etc.

Ok stress and anxiety Will cause inflammation to small airways.
Airway inflammation constricts airways?!!! Constriction makes it hard to pass air in and out ?

Short simple questions will give me a base to compile what I think I know but to put them in a form to look at and not ask again but use to get better.

I will have to text ex today neither of us will be able to talk so text it will be.

I have an issue with inhaling where e first part is smooth then I hit an bit of obstruction that requires a bit more effort. I will assume this is the inflammation part of the small airway constricting

Stress and inflammation affects all of lungs as a whole, I notice upper area more than lower yes?

I woke at 2:30 fell back asleep at 3 for another 90 minutes.

The project I have failed to finish is 88-90% done. That was the hardest part. The remainder should take a few more days. Hope it's done soon. Less stress

Yes for the first understanding, no for the second one.
Stress and anxiety affect whole lung similarly. It's your personal assumption that upper chest is more affected as compare to lower chest.

Time question was to get time of you compared to mine. You asked if I had the interview yet and I was figuring out what your time would be when i have it later. It will roughly 4 am your time when I start.

I can send you response to its outcome later.

i am at desk now, I can still reply but will keep old questions aside for now. Its hard to remember them all when I start to have a sensation that seems outside the possibility of anxiety and stress so I ask the questions that relate to it so I then can be certain and not fall back into disbelief.

So today, I must relax and believe that the issue with breathing is inflammation caused by stress and worry so to stop the inflammation is to stop the worry.

I am sure that it took time to get to this point now to get the thoughts out of brain, accept the body sensations as stress caused and work on time and patience

Ok, I did what you asked and avoided reading old info

I woke at midnight, went into thinking that lead to panic. Took a Xanax and fell asleep at two and slept poorly.

I laid awake when I noticed my breathing was somewhat difficult when I tried to breath using my upper chest. I could only get a small amount. this caused me to give an opportunity to NOT think of COPD but of emphysema.

I then used thinking to tell myself that you are certain that there is no lung disease. I started to calm down. In all this I started to put together info you have supplied and my local dr has said and I considered the following possibility to explain but am not sure of this.
Inflammation by stress and panic/anxiety have tightened all small airways. I notice it more in my upper lungs. You have mentioned it messes with air in and air out. If it messes with air out, would it not create a form of air trapping when I breath faster because of panic , it does not leave fully before my next inhale starts? This causes my sensation of not a full inhale. I wonder this because I can push a little at end of a breath and get air out letting more in on the next breath. I think that this is the bronchi constriction you speak of.

I had the interview yesterday. I was tense at first. But relaxed after I got started. It went well. Bad news is the job was not near my home up north though.

If air trapping is there then it would have definitely shown infection your PFT s.

Actually I wasn't thinking I had air trapping but the inflammation was not expelling all the air from a previous breath before before I would take a new breath in
