Suggest Remedies For Sharp Pain In The Right Knee

Question: Thanks! I have a sharp pain in my right knee that had an onset last night without injury. Simply walking I suddenly felt a sharp pain that almost took me to the ground. It seems mostly brought on by straightening my leg and applying pressure. I have noticed tenderness on the inside left of my knee cap. Helped by bracing. The symptoms weren't consistent in the beginning allowing me to walk through the airport, but eventually couldn't walk at all.

Hi,

I have got the query.

Symptoms you are explaining may be due to many reasons like sprain of knee, patellofemoral arthrits, meniscal tear which some times occur due to prolong standing, walking or just minor trauma depending upon age of patient.

All you need is to have xray of affected knee in skyline view and send me the report.

You may also have a visit of orthopaedic surgeon who will do you physical examination and you can also discuss all that with him, which I have advise to you just now.

Till then have tab aceclofenac 100mg + serratiopeptidase 15mg twice a day by prescription of your family doctor as this is not over the counter.

Avoid squatting, climbing stairs etc.

Apply hot packs.
