Brief Answer:
Possible Muscle strain

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for posting your query in HealthcareMagic,

The pain you are currently having must be due to muscle strain as a consequence of lifting weights. Ample amount of rest and avoiding similar activities for a while should improve your symptoms.

But if the pain does last for more than a few days, I would suggest you to consult with an orthopedician for proper examination and for an Xray spine so as to look out for any conditions affecting the spine.

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to do the following:

- Take T. ZERODOL-P if you find the pain to be severe, take it twice daily for 3 days.

- avoid sleeping on the back as it may cause increased stress on the spine affected. Try sleeping on the sides.

- avoid any strenous exercises for a while.

- if lifting weights during workout, discuss with your physical trainer for advisable practices of weight lifting, so that you can take it slow each time and focus on strengthening the muscles involved in that area.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to discuss further,

Regards
