Brief Answer:
Donate Blood.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Thanks for posting your query.

There are certain causes for high hemoglobin. Some of them are :

1 Smoking or regular exposure to smoke.
2. Increased production of Erythropoitin ( a hormone that stimulates blood production ).

First thing is , if at all you smoke then stop it . If at all there is any exposure to significant smoke on a daily basis then avoid it.

If these factors are not there , then I recommend you to get Serum Erythropoietin levels and Hemoglobin electrophoresis test and revert back .

At present the simplest wat to reduce your Hemoglobin is to donate blood every 3-4 months .

Kindly revert back with the test reports.

Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.

Just by changing diet it won't make any significant impact on your Hemoglobin levels . Still you need to avoid Iron rich food .
