Suggest Remedies For Jock Itch

Question: I have jock itch. I've had it before where my scrotum becomes inflamed with itchy, flaky skin. Previously I had a prescribed cream that cleared it up within a couple days. I'm looking for the same recommendation and don't know what cream to buy.

I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
For jock itch antifungal creams need to be used.
Many preparations are available over the counter like miconazole cream or clotrimazole cream or terbinafine cream.
You can apply either of the above cream on the affected areas twice daily for 2-3 weeks till the time it resolves.
