Suggest Remedies For Irritation On The Penis Head

Question: hello,

i have been experiencing irritation to my penis head (meatus) for about 2 months now. it has been inflamed or irritated and i can't seem to find the cause. i do recall i used a different type of body soap for awhile but never noticed irritation until i finished the entire bottle. i am also uncut and do dry the foreskin after showers.
i have been to the doctor to get tested for std's and all results came back ok.
i have set up an appointment with an urologist and he's told me to just use hydrocortisone creme for 2 weeks and come back if it hasnt cleared. i had to stop using the hydrocortisone creme. i have no pain when i urinate and no burning. so no symptoms whatsoever other than my penis looking like a tomato =/ the picture i supplied i have applied some regular vaseline to help with the redness.

2) did you have oral sex ?

You need to take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefexine along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily along with topical antibiotic ointment like Neosporin twice daily.

Ensure to wash your genitals with warm water twice daily.

Ensure to avoid sexual encounters till it heals up completely.

hello doctor, thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
to help you with your analysis, i have not had any sex while i have had this issue. the last encounter was in february and i did receive oral sex.

what do you suggest i do to treat this?
my urologist prescribed me tetracycline but due to having no health insurance i was not able to afford the prescription. i have no way of contacting my doctor until my next appointment in mid may.

Just being curious, would the tetracycline the doctor prescribed me help cure my situation also since it is an antibiotic like the cefixime?

thank you doctor,

i have a couple of questions, just in case i cant afford the tetracycline. my local pharmacy has told me to ask my doctor if i can take penicillin or ampicillin would these medicines help clear up the balanitis?

alright, i got some ampicillin from a family doctor and ill take that for 10 days and apply the neosporin and hope it helps.
