Question: I have areas of my hair that have turned very kinky and dry almost like its been burned. I have not burned it even with curlig irons, etc. I am a white female 69 yrs. old.I lost my husband 9 months ago due to a long bout of cancer.

Hair changes in your case need further evaluation .

This consists of assessing your thyroid and blood iron status, as derangements in both can cause such disturbances in hair.

For this I advise you to get a complete thyroid profile and complete hemogram levels.

Further management if any is largely based on test results.

Meanwhile, I advise you to take tab oral pills XTRAGLOW, one pill a day at bedtime,which contains Biotin very much necessary for hair quality improvement.
