Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
He seems to be having Sore throat that is Acute Pharyngitis.
See Ciplox is not a preferred drug for this these days.
I advise following in such condition:
1. To take antibiotic like Azithromycin 500 mg once a day for 3 days.
2. Can take Tab Cheston Cold twice a day for 3 days.
3. Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg even if fever still comes (Cheston cold also contains Paracetamol so use Plain Paracetamol if fever he still gets after taking Cheston Cold)
4. To do warm saline gargles atleast 3-4 times a day. In case of severe throat pain he can also do warm gargles with a tablet of disprin dissolved in it.
All this needs to be done for 3 days.
He will recover.
If you have any further query please ask me.
