What Causes Sore Throat After Having Cold Drinks?

Every time I drink something cold my throat feels like its soar it hurts me a but to swallow and the pain last for like a second or two after it s not severe it s feels like it s swollen but if could be wrong I was given antibiotic a few months ago but I had normal wear and tear due to singing is their a bigger problem than what I think

it may be acute pharyngitis
have warm saline gargling 3-4 times daily
avoid exposure to cold and give rest to your voice
you may use strepsils lozenges3-4 daily for soothing action
if no improvement within a week better see a ENT soecialist
