Brief Answer:
Apply Soframycin ointment.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,thank you for posting your query on health care magic.

Abrasion over neck due to kite thread is very common during uttarayan festival in XXXXXXX

In case of abrasion which is superficial skin injury, first clean the injury with a clean distilled water to remove any any particle and colour of kite thread.

Then you can apply antibiotic ointment like soframycin over the abrasion to prevent infection.
The abrasion will heal in 1-2 weeks.

Also take one intramuscular injection of Tetanus toxoid(0.5 ml) if not taken in past 5 years.

Hope this answers your question.I would be happy to answer if you have any follow up questions.Take care.
