Brief Answer:
maximum recommended dose is 150mg.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I understand your concerns.

Doxepin is available in two kind of preparations.

A low dose preparation (3mg tablets) of doxepin is used for insomnia.

A high dose preparation (150mg) is used for depression.

The maximum recommended dose of doxepin is 150 mg.

So, I think 30mg is not an overdose.
But avoid doing any dose changes without consulting your doctor.

Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
not the dangerous dose.

Detailed Answer:
You are most welcome :)

As I told you earlier, the maximum dose of doxepin is 150mg.
50mg is not the dangerous dose but it can cause heavy sedation. Do not drive or do heavy machinery work after taking drug.

Do keep your doctor informed about your drug intake.

Take care.
Thanks.
