Question: My son is having cold infection and running nose who 17mnths and 13kg can i gv him cepodem 100mg and hw much ml and plz tell when spoorlac pouch r gven??

When cepodem 100mg is given and when spoorlac power is given but last time when my son got cold and running nose doctor given it 2.5 ml of cepodem but he was also hving throat congession..??

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
See Cepodem is an antibiotic and is used for various kinds of infections.

It seems your child is having upper respiratory tract infection.

Here, antibiotics help, however, anti allergics help more.

I usually prescribe in such case to my patients, Sinarest drops 0.2 ml thrice daily.
Later, in next 2-3 days, if i feel, there is no response, then i consider adding up antibiotics.
